ABSTRACT: The Ulladulla 1:250,000 Metallogenic Map forms part of the programme of mapping aimed at presenting detailed information on mineral occurrences in New South Wales, recognizing and delineating metallogenic provinces and districts, and establishing potential ore bearing districts. In addition, an analysis of available information is provided so that work may proceed towards interpreting ore genesis. Non-metallic deposits have only been dealt with where they provide additional information which may assist in the aims outlined above. These sources have been supplemented by personal communication and limited fieldwork. As little interpretation as possible has been carried out in the assembly of information; however, in the literature from which the information is extracted some interpretation is inevitable.
