The NSW DPI Schools Program and Local Land Services are proud to present a Property Planning Field Day for local high schools - Thursday May 26, 2022 – at Tocal College.
The day includes:
- Property overview and planning
- Soil assessment
- Water quality assessment
- Pest species
- Livestock
Cost: $12.00/student
Age: High school age – agriculture and geography students
Location: 815 Tocal Rd, Paterson NSW 2421
Date: Thursday May 26, 2022
The finalised Program will be sent to teachers prior to the event.
Start time- 9:30am TBC Finish 2:30pm TBC.
Students will rotate through workshops at different sites around the college, outside of walking distance. Teachers to transport students via bus, etc. between the workshops.
Where possible students will remain in school groups for COVID safety.
Students to bring:
- Water, lunch and snacks
- Enclosed walking shoes, sun protection (e.g. hat, sunscreen, and long-sleeved shirt)
- Pencil/pen and writing paper.
