Abstract
The Nymagee 1:100000 sheet is situated about halfway between the townships of Cobar to the northwest and Condobolin to the southeast and the sheet is situated in the eastern part of the Lachlan Fold Belt. Major rock units on the Nymagee sheet are the Girilambone group, Tallebung Group, Nymagee Igneous Complex, Erimeran Granite, and Cobar Supergroup. A major unconformity/nonconformity separates the Cobar Supergroup from the older basement rock units.
