Abstract
The metallogenic study of the Narromine 1:250000 sheet area is part of and concludes a major project aimed at providing an inventory of mineral deposits and an understanding of the metallogenesis of individual 1:250000 sheet areas in the eastern Lachlan Fold Belt. The geology and tectonics are briefly discussed in order to provide a framework for the discussion of the metallogensis. A discussion of the basis on which the deposits are classified and described follows the section on geology. The text concludes with some thoughts on the direction future exploration sheet area should take.
