The Geological Evolution of New South Wales - A Brief Review is an introduction to the basic formational structures of NSW. This booklet gives a summary of the geological evolution of New South Wales based on plate tectonics, and includes an overview of the plate tectonic processes. It is aimed both at geologists and at others with an interest in the topic.
It acts as a primer for the extremely comprehensive: Geology of New South Wales - Synthesis Volumes 1 and 2, and those wishing to pursue the topic further are referred to these more technical volumes. (Note - Geology of New South Wales - Synthesis Volume 2 is now out of print).
