This booklet gives a summary of the geological evolution of New South Wales based on plate tectonics, and includes an overview of the plate tectonic processes. It is aimed both at geologists and at others with an interest in the topic.
It acts as a primer for the more comprehensive: Geology of New South Wales - Synthesis Volumes 1 and 2 (Memoir series, see reference list herein), and those wishing to pursue the topic further are referred to these more technical volumes.
